“This matcha- compared to others, I would say is best for baking and cooking. If used in a tea it can be a bit overwhelming- unless you have other additives in the tea (like milk, honey, butter, etc). But it’s strong flavor is great for cooking with- and does accent our daily smoothies nicely. Compared to some other brands, you are getting a bit less matcha for your money. With that being said, this is high quality ORGANIC matcha, which in some people’s budgets may be worth the price. For me, I would definitely purchase this brand again- even if the size is a bit smaller than it’s competitors at the same price.”

“This matcha comes well-packaged in a plastic package (the one in the product desctiption). It’s very easy to open, but also retains freshness very efficiently. Green tea matcha is used by many smoothie companies as a ‘energy boost’ or ‘herbal green’ component to different smoothies. For people who want to save money, but still have a high-quality energy-boosting smoothie- you can make your own at home, and add this product. This product does add a mild herbal flavor to fruit smoothies. But it’s an accenting flavor that my family loves. Overall, I do like this product. I’m only rating it four stars, because there are other products out there, where you get more matcha for your buck. But it’s still a great quality product and I’d highly recommend it for people looking for organic, great tasting matcha.”
