Our Organic Japanese Matcha Green Tea is made from the nutrient-rich young leaves, ground into ultra fine powder using traditional methods. Our Matcha is made from early season, high grade, shade-grown tea. The tencha tea leaves we use have impressively high chlorophyll and nutrient levels (the result of a prolonged shade-growth method) that once dried. This process of creating premium matcha requires great deal of expertise of farmers and craftspeople. This age old process enhances the sweet taste and rich flavour of our tea.
